CMS Family Night Starts the Year

Central Middle School rang in the new school year by having a carnival on August 29. Families were invited to the school to play games, meet teachers, eat nachos and win prizes.

"As always it was great to see our families come in and be involved in what we do everyday." said Assistant Principal Mrs Kincaid.

Families got a chance to talk to teachers and coaches about the up coming school year and get important information for joining sports and other school organizations.

The grand finale of the night was when a bicycle was raffled off to a student. The lucky winner was Gabriel Ponce Becerra!

"I couldn't believe that I won it!" Said Gabriel after receiving his new bike.

If you missed out on the fun, CMS will be having our next family event on October 3 from 5-7 p.m. The night will be to celebrate literacy with our Pages and Pasta Night.

Don't take our word for how fun the night will be, take it from Gabriel with his new bike. "Come because you can have fun with your friends and sometimes you win prizes!"
